NetEnt’s Jingle Spin: Top20 on iGaming Tracker
iGaming Tracker is one of the most reliable sources of extremely important information about the online gambling industry and its market. One of the main reasons is that their software performs a thorough analysis of hundreds of online casinos and thousands of slot machines, collects data, and outputs them in 50+ PDF pages. They use the premium proprietary algorithm, and anyone who wants to get all the data has to pay hundreds of pounds each month. As you are such a loyal reader of our articles, we are providing you with some spicy details from the most recent December report.
Why is Jungle Spin So Popular?
Here’s one impressive fact from the iGaming Tracker’s December report — Jingle Spin moved up 254 spots on the most popular slot machines list to reach the spot No. 4. Although this sounds almost impossible, you need to take into account the fact that the game was released on November 29. Not many people got to play it on Nov 29 and 30, especially because those days were Thursday and Friday. It is a fact that people gamble online a lot more during the weekend, so the game has already got a lot of popularity points on the very first day of December.
The Christmas theme of this game carries the Holiday Spirit, so it is obvious why NetEnt published it less than a month before Christmas and New Years Eve. Animated Santa Claus in the bottom right corner, rewarding gnomes above the reels and Christmas tree ornaments in the paytable are definitely the best way to prepare the community for the upcoming Holidays.
Symbols, Features, RTP, and More!
If you think 3D graphics and cool animations are there to make up for the bad performance and a high house edge, you couldn’t be more wrong. The RTP is set to 96.48%, which is surprisingly high nowadays since ways-to-win machines are taking over the market, regardless of the fact that the average RTP is going down because of them. You’re most likely familiar with the 5 by 3 structure with 20 fixed paylines arranged across the table.

The best case scenario related to regular one-round winnings is to connect five red ornaments, which will award x1,000 of the bet per line. To get at least 0.25% of what you invested for one spin, you’ll have to land three card value symbols of a kind. Wild symbols will help you with any possible combination out there.
This slot has four main features:
- Spreading Wild Bauble
- Free Spins Bauble
- Coin Win Baubles
- Surprise Bauble
The payouts for these features are what makes the RTP so high. However, it takes some time to fully understand all four of them, so make sure to go through the entire paytable section. Demo version of the game can help you with the learning process as well.

NetEnt Dominates the Top 20 List
The Swedish company NetEnt, is devoting all of its time and resources to becoming the most dominant online gambling company in the world. Although they are making great moves from a business standpoint, such as being the first company to try to break into the US market in the near future, great products are always there to support everything they say and do.
Other companies might copy what NetEnt is doing, or even achieve something before NetEnt, but they will lack 10/10 products to allow them to do so. This is the current situation with US market — it’s opened, and all we are waiting for is approval form individual states. This will happen sooner or later, and everyone knows NetEnt will be one of, if not the first, company to get in thanks to hundreds of high-quality games.
NetEnt takes 25% spots on the top 20 slots list with their slots: Starburst, Jingle Spin, Vikings, Gonzo’s Quest and Wildo Tron 3000. Starburst has already been ahead of every other slot machine for nine straight months. It was indeed heavily advertised, but that’s not what kept it on the top all these months. We have seen companies investing hundreds of thousands, or even millions of dollars, in advertisement campaigns, but all they manage to do is enter the top 20 list for a month or two before players lose interest for their games.
Play’n GO’s Book of Dead went up by one spot, reaching the 2nd place, while Big Time Gaming’s Bonanza dropped to the 3rd place on the list. Although Jingle Spin nailed it by moving up more than 250 places in one month, there are a few more games that did almost as good as this slot, but also the two that achieved even more:
- Ivan and the Immortal King, developed by Playtech, was 367th on the list in November, but managed to go up by incredible 349 spots! It’s currently 18th on the list.
- Red Tiger’s Jingle Bells went up by 313 spots, from 333rd all the way up to the 20th place.
- It’s Magic by IGT did almost as good as Jingle Spin, going up 245 spots and reaching the 13th place
- Who Wants To Be a Millionaire Megaways by Big Time Gaming reached the 7th place, coming up from the 162nd position in November
If it costs hundreds of pounds to see what’s going on in the market, it’s extremely ungrateful to make any assumptions on what’s going to happen in the next three weeks or so, before we receive the January report. However, nothing stops us from guessing and trying to figure out who’s going to stay on the list during the next 30 days.
It’s quite safe to say that Starburst will keep its number one spot. It has already been up there for nine months, and there’s nothing in sight that could possibly threaten to stop its domination on the market. Other games, such as Bonanza and Book of Dead, which are also in the top 20 or even top 10 for months, are likely to retain their rankings. Games that made massive jumps due to winter holidays, such as Jingle Spin and Jingle Bells, might overtake other games on the list.
One more thing we are looking forward to in January are highly anticipated slot releases, such as Golden Gecko and Jungle Riches from IGT or Gonzo’s Quest VR and Strolling Staxx Cubic Fruits by NetEnt.
