Tomb Raider Review

Tomb Raider Introduction

If you’re a fan of computer games, you’ll almost certainly have heard of Tomb Raider, the action adventure game featuring the sultry Lara Croft. It’s a slot from Microgaming, so you can be sure that it’s going to be of the highest quality, and has a number of great features, including:

Great Free spins
A high paying bonus round
15 action packed paylines
A huge jackpot, worth 7,500x
Retro graphics

When it comes to the graphics of the slot, some might be put off by the retro feel that they bring. This style is completely deliberate though, harking back to the time when Lara Croft first made her entrance on the PlayStation – back when graphics weren’t quite as crisp as they are now. The classic slot machine sound effects also add to this retro feeling. So, you won’t find snazzy 3D graphics at this slot, but will instead find a solid game, with loads of brilliant features. You’ll be able to choose how many of the 15 paylines you want to play before each spin, and you’ll also have the option of choosing how much to bet. The minimum bet amount per payline is one coin, while the maximum is five. Prizes will be paid in multiples of your bet, with the highest being a total of 37,500 coins. This comes when you get five of the Tomb Raider logos across a payline. Other high paying symbols include the golden idol, the hieroglyph and Lara Croft herself. It’s the bonus features that really make this slot stand out from the rest though, as you’ll see in the following section.

Bonus Features

Bonus features add excitement to slots, and they also usually add the chance to win some pretty nice prizes as well. This is certainly the case at Tomb Raider. The first feature to mention is the most basic of all of them, however it is seen the most often – the wild symbol. This is represented by the game’s logo, and it can substitute for any other symbols on the reels, aside from the scatter and bonus symbols. The next of the features to mention are the Free spins, which are a staple of many online slots nowadays. To activate them, you’ll need to get three or more of the scatter symbol anywhere on the reels. Doing so will also award an instant scatter win, which can be worth up to 400x your bet per payline. You’ll receive ten Free spins in total, which isn’t too exciting, however the fact that all wins will be tripled while they’re active should lead to some fantastic prizes. Finally, there’s the bonus round, which is activated by getting three or more of the golden idols on an active payline. This starts a simple Pick Me bonus, where players will have to choose one of the idols on display, revealing prizes when they do. This can lead to a prize of up to 2,500x the bet per payline.

Conclusion

Tomb Raider is a classic of the online slot world, and there are many reasons for this. The bonus games keep the fun flowing all the time and the theme is one that many people will absolutely love. And while the prizes can be huge, why not play Tomb Raider for free right now?
