Space Wars Review

Space Wars Introduction

The Space Wars slot is a fast and highly invigorating slots game from NetEnt that brings the idea of intergalactic space battles to the world of online gaming. This is a 5 reel game with 40 paylines and a lot of interesting, unique features to look out for once you get started. The idea behind Space Wars is that there are 5 different groups of alien species all battling to take control of a powerful crystal, with you hopefully profiting from their wars along the way. Each of these alien creatures appears on the reel as one of the symbols, with some of these looking funnier and weirder than others. There are also a few very well presented animated sequences that bring the creatures to life and add some more fun to the presentation at the same time. If you love the idea of cool creatures existing on another planet somewhere in outer space then you will enjoy seeing these little creatures spring to life now and then. The extra-terrestrial music that plays in the background helps to bring the game to life even more by adding a spooky atmosphere perfectly in keeping with the images. It is laid-back sort of game most of the time but the animations and winning sequences help to bring it to life at various points. Overall, Space Wars has a cute look is sure to appeal to lots of different types of gamer for different reasons. There is no doubt that it is great to look at – like all NetEnt games, to be fair – but it also has a thrilling type of gameplay that will keep you coming back for more time and time again.

Features

• Wild substitutions
• Free re-spins
• Cloned winning symbols
• Stacked symbols
• Autoplay

One of the main features of the Space Wars game is that all of the symbols can appear on the reels as stacked combinations, even Wild symbols and even during re-spins. This is a great way to build up blocks of symbols for bigger wins very easily.

Golden Wild Symbol

The slot’s Wild symbols are those which have the word Wild written across them. They can only make their welcome appearance on the second and fourth reels, although they can pop up on both the base game and on the re-spins too. The Wild symbol will make up a winning combination by replacing any other symbols. They can also be stacked to form blocks if you are really lucky.

Free Spins and Bonus Features

Another feature that can turn out to be very profitable for players is the one that is called Cloning Pod Re-spins. When a winning line is made up the winning symbol is moved across to the Cloning Pad on the right of the screen. You then get awarded a free re-spin that features a number of clones of that symbol, to boost your chances of a tasty win. This is a terrific feature that makes sure that the feel-good factor of a winning combination carries on for a bit longer.

Conclusion

The gameplay is simple enough to let you get started easily enough but varied enough to keep you entertained for a long time. If you want an adventure in space that has a range of fascinating features then Space Wars from NetEnt is definitely a slot to look out for.
